Sounds all too familiar I bet. There’s a reason McLuhan’s famous aphorism “The medium is the message” has stood the test of time. This quote from Huxley rightly suggests our focus is on the wrong thing: the figure instead of the ground. In other words, our focus is on the technology when it should be examining its effects and how it changes us.
